Brain Injury Recovery
A 28-year-old father of one suffered life-threatening injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, when a dead tree next to the roadway fell into the roadway while he was driving on a Montgomery County road. The investigation by Kevin R. Marciano, Esquire and Patrick D. MacAvoy, Esquire of Marciano & MacAvoy revealed that the homeowners on whose property the dead tree stood had previously hired a consulting company to inspect and trim trees on their property, including the dead tree that tragically injured our client. While our client suffered catastrophic injuries, in comparison the insurance limits available were severely limited. Even still, prior to trial, the attorneys at Marciano & MacAvoy were able to secure a recovery against both the homeowners and the tree consulting company for a total of $1,000,000.
